To create the 12 Days of Christmas – Large Card

1.                   This is a large card and I have used both sheets of A4 cardstock.  Score one edge of the cardstock approximately 8cm in and fold.  Attach double sided tape and stick this to the other A4 cardstock.  It doesn’t matter where the join is, as this will be covered with papers.

2.                   Using Adornit Christmas journal paper, cover the front of the card ensuring the paper goes around the spine so if your join is on the back this will cover it.

3.                   Using red cardstock cover inside of the card completely.

4.                   Using some of the excess Christmas journal paper cover the edge of the inside which shows on the front of the card.

5.                   I used Adornit Christmas Stripe paper to trim the card.

6.                   Stamp your 12 Days of Christmas onto some white cardstock and colour in.  If using watercolour paints you will need to use a StazOn ink pad.  You could emboss the images if you want to.  I have used twinkling H2O’s and coloured pencils.

7.                   Cut your images into square and mount onto spare coloured card stock (I used DCWV cardstock).  Before sticking them onto your card, make sure that all the images will fit and find the layout you like best then glue into position.

8.                   For the lettering I have used DCWV glitter cardstock which I cut letters using a Cricut machine, however, any lettering will work.

I have used a rub on Christmas message in the card but this can be left blank for your own message or any rubber stamp message would work just as well.

To create the Hedgehog dancing card

1.                   Fold your A4 cardstock in half.  I have covered the front half with pink cardstock and half with patterned paper.

2.                   Stamp you images onto a white piece of cardstock and colour in.

3.                   Glue the white cardstock with the coloured images onto the card concealing the join.

4.                   Attach ribbon to the top of the white cardstock

5.                   I have added a 3D chipboard glittered embellishment, however, any embellishment would work.

6.                   Stamp your message onto the card, I have used a Happy Birthday stamp but you could change this

To create the French Hen Card

1.                   Using an A4 piece of white cardstock I have folded it in half and then cut it into a square card.

2.                   Cover the front of the card in patterned paper

3.                   Stamp you image onto white card stock and colour in.

4.                   Mount the white cardstock onto some spare coloured co-ordinating cardstock.

5.                   Using eyelets, attach the layered card stock (do not attach to the card with the eyelets)

6.                   Using double sided tape, attach the layered cardstock to the centre of the card.

7.                   I have used a Happy Birthday stamp to detail the front but again, you can use whatever you like.

Felt flowers from Embellishment Kit 585263

To create the red card

1.       Cover the front of the card with the chocolate rose paper.

2.       Using a piece of spare vellum tear it roughly and stamp the vellum with a verse using StazOn ink as this ink works best on vellum.  Glue the vellum to the card using a vellum adhesive so it doesn’t show through.

3.       Glue one of the embellished tags.

4.       To finish off add some sequin flowers from the embellishment pack adding a gem to each of the flowers to create a sparkling centre.

To create the yellow card

1.       Cover the front with the golden poppy paper.

2.       Score the top corner twice and fold back.  Using some spare paper cover the back of the scored part of the card and trim.

3.       Trim the excess white card.

4.       Using the Mira tag, remove the page clip to use on the verse cards, also remove the ribbon from the tag, cut down and rethread the tag.

5.       Using the green pearl paper from the embellishment kit, stamp the verse with Staz-On ink pad (any verse can be used for this) and round off the corners of the paper with a pair of scissors.

6.       Using the ribbon from the tag fold a piece over the corner of the green card and glue in place.  Take a sequin flower and glue to the ribbon and attach a gem to the centre of the flower.

7.       Mount the green pearl paper on to the red pearl paper and round off the corners of the red paper.

8.       Secure the folded corner with some tape, attach the page clip to the folded section and then attach the verse card.  You can write on the back of the verse card as this can be removed.

9.       Attach the ready made tag

10.     Use the glitter stickers to add a message to your card, I used them to say thanks to match the stamped verse.

To create the scrapbook page layout

1.       Using 1 sheet of paisley paper as the base, cut a strip of red cardstock and a strip of vellum (I cut mine 10cm wide for the cardstock and 11cm wide for the vellum). Lay the cardstock over the vellum and attach to the paper.

2.       Mount the photo’s using the remaining.  Attach a die-cut tab from the embellishment kit to each of the photos and glue the photo’s onto the page (I used acid free double sided tape)

3.       Using the glitter alphabet I detailed the page with “destination Russia” placing the letters for “Russia” onto the photograph.

4.       Layer the felt flowers with a sequin for the centre and then a brad though them both, these are attached to detail the photograph.

5.       Add an embellished tag to finish the page.

Photo shows felt flowers with sequin and brad centers.
